Empowered Health Welcomes Medical Student for the Summer

Please join me in giving a warm welcome to Sydney Ryan, a medical student at Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine! She just finished her first year of medical school and will be joining me from June-July through an award to participate in the Leroy A. Rodgers, MD, Preceptorship Program.

A little about Sydney:

Hello, my name is Sydney! I am a second year medical student at Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine. I went to college at John Carroll University majoring in Biology. I am hoping to become a pediatrician or family medicine physician in the future. I love to read and do crafts in my free time! I am excited to work with Dr. White this summer! 

As a medical student, I loved the time I got to spend learning from family doctors - especially during the first couple of years of medical school, which tend to be more bookwork. I’m looking forward to being able to pass it on by teaching students at Empowered Health!
