Empowered Health and Fairview Hospital

I’m very happy to announce I am now an affiliate medical staff member of Cleveland Clinic Fairview Hospital!

This is where I did much of my training, so it is wonderful to continue to be a part of this great hospital.

What does this mean?

Well, when my patients are admitted to the hospital, I will be able to easily see notes and test results in real time. While I will not be the admitting physician at this time, I will be actively involved in my patient’s care behind the scenes to do my best to make sure they are getting the care that they need. My office is a lovely 6 minute drive from Fairview, so I will be checking in on my patients regularly and in person when they are admitted to the hospital. My patients will now be admitted to the Cleveland Clinic Fairview medical staff physicians, many of whom I know and have a good relationship with.

Are you employed by Fairview Hospital?

I will maintain my independence as a private practice physician at Empowered Health, the practice I’ve founded. This just means I can now work more closely with the team at Fairview to care for patients.

Over the next 4-5 years, my plan is to hire a couple of other physicians so we’ll have a small team that can begin admitting our own patients to the hospital. I would love for patients to feel they have a team that knows and cares for them regardless of their setting of care.
